The second number on your tyre is the Profile or Aspect Ratio.
What is Aspect Ratio or Profile?
The profile or aspect ratio is the height of the tyre's sidewall relative to its width, expressed as a percentage. In 205/55R16, 55 means the height is 55% of the width. Our collection includes tyres with various aspect ratios, from lower ones around 40 (indicating shorter sidewalls) to higher ones around 70 or 75 (indicating taller sidewalls).
